The Design Factor

The kitchen has undergone a major role reversal in recent times. Viewed for many years purely as a work area, it is becoming an increasingly central part of our living space. People meet in the kitchen to talk and work and simply to be. It is a place to invite and entertain friends.

As a result, the demands made on kitchen appliances and their design have risen accordingly. Coffee machines and other kitchen appliances have become expressions of style and good taste. An IMPRESSA is no longer "just" a coffee machine so much as a design object in its own right, chosen to enhance the interior as a whole.

Alu Frame Design©
The way an object feels is an expression of its value. This is one of the reasons why we chose solid aluminium for the front panels of the IMPRESSA F90. The 3-mm-thick material, combined with heavy, polished cast metal components, sets off the machine's clear-cut lines to full advantage.

Cup illumination
It is a well-known fact that enjoyment is also a visual phenomenon. Illuminating the cup ensures that each perfect coffee is seen in the best possible light. It focuses attention on the superb "crema" and helps turn the enjoyment of coffee into an expression of the culture that surrounds us. After all, there is nothing like the pleasure of anticipation.
